Valeria is one of the architects of Building Bridges: The Power of the Sisterhood. She is a seasoned workshop facilitator, and has worked with URU on a variety of D & I workshops, particularly those that were presented at the National Academy of Science and UT of Southwestern. She is the co-author with Crystal R. Emery and Laura Bottomley of “Creating a Bridge to Sisterhood,” to be presented at the 2021 Collaborative Network for Engineering and Computing Diversity Conference.
