Jasmine Blennau is an experienced marketing and live events producer who joined URU during the summer of 2021. As our production manager, Jasmine is responsible for creative management, event coordination and daily project operations. In addition, she focuses on moving creative projects forward. This includes education initiatives, community events, films, and other artistic ventures. Jasmine enjoys identifying a vision, designing a plan of action, and taking the necessary steps to ensure the vision becomes a reality.
Most recently Jasmine worked as an Associate Producer for Fairfield University, where she created promotional content across departments and supported annual live events. Her favorite part of production is ensuring that the crew and staff are fully prepared and understand the collective concept. Jasmine has served in higher education, professional sports, nonprofit and news.
In 2014 she began her freelance career in media production and live broadcasting, working on seasonal crews with D1 athletic institutions and professional sports organizations. At St. John’s Athletics Jasmine produced broadcasts for ESPN3, ESPN+ and Big East Digital Network. Jasmine also co-produced the Red Storm Report on MSG+.
Jasmine studied journalism and politics at Stony Brook University before earning a Master of Business Administration from St. John’s University, Peter J. Tobin School of Business.
