Eugene Joh is a longstanding staff member of URU, where he works closely with CEO Crystal Emery. Joh’s recent work has been focused on the development of URU’s “Changing the Face of STEM” program. He is also one of the producers of the URU podcast “At the Intersection of Crystal R. Emery.”
In addition to his work with URU, Joh is a Quality Assurance Technician at George Schmitt & Co. (GSC), a commercial printing company. At GSC, Joh oversees the conformance of printed materials to customer specifications, government regulations, and environmental standards, as well as conformance of the manufacturing facility to required standards. Joh is certified as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) through The American Society for Quality (ASQ). Prior to working with URU and GSC, Joh was a Media Auditor at BPA Worldwide, Inc., a not-for-profit circulation auditing firm that provided independent, third-party verification of audience metrics for media outlets and trade publications.
Joh earned a B.A. in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
